Multple light 2

This is the second picture I chose. I really liked the lines in this picture. There's the shadow lines, the lines on the tiled floor, the lines on the ceiling, etc. I used direct flash on the front of the dancers to create dramatic lighting and I chose a blue gel on the back light to match the dancer's dress.

Multiple Lights 1

This is the first image I chose. I like this one because of the repetition of the couple on the right of the dancers.

Single Flash Take 1

This is from my first take for the single flash assignment. I used the white wall in front of them to bounce my strobe and create a more diffused light.

Metal and Glass

This is my photo for the metal and glass assignment. I used the plexiglass table with a large softbox behind it then I used a gel on the light underneath the table and large piece of yellow cardboard on the floor to reflect the light. Above is somewhat of a lighting diagram for it.

Lighting Diagram for Portrait of Rob

This portrait of Rob Bratney was shot with two lights and a reflector. One light is coming from above and to the right of Rob and the other is coming from the left. This helped me avoid any light reflections in his glasses. and then the reflector was used to make sure there was enough light under the brim of his hat.
